  1. I went to Australia for a month with my friend and it was my first time traveling abroad, first night there i didn't see my friend. I actually saw him only in passing or when we had to catch flights, we got along well, but ultimately i went crazy with happiness hanging out with other hostel mates and ended up exploring other places not planned. So it wasn't bad expect when my friend didn't shower for 3 days and his B.O was killing me. But now i travel alone.

  2. Super relatable. We are going as a group but I know I will have to go solo for a few things as i like to go out and explore on my own. last time i got super grumpy the second week in.

  4. Hey Vagabrothers! Yes I have a story! Last summer I traveled with my mother and little sister. The trip on itself was amazing but the flights were torcher. Especially on the last flight home where my family didn't want to carry any of the heavy bags so they had me carry a giant backpack, a roller carry-on and a duffel bag. Sound horrible right? While I was in line to board they decided to leave me to go to the bathroom and since I had NO help with the luggage when I tried to move in line I fell flat on the floor and the luggage fell on me and i twisted my ankle! Lesson: Never let your family bring more than a carry-on! Now we laugh about it but believe me we weren't laughing at the moment.

  5. I travelled around Europe in a tour group with my sister and her fiancé for 5 out of the 7 weeks planned, 5 weeks in the both left the tour. That was almost a year ago and we are only just starting to talk again. What l hoped to be an amazing bonding experience turned into a disaster and l will never travel with family again.

  8. Holy s*** so true! You start bitchin about the most ridiculous stuff. For example my travel-buddy had the habit of eating so infuriating slowly, it was unbelievable. One day, I could not take it any longer. He would chew a teaspoon of chicken biryani 50+ times (!!!) (i counted that) Basically I flipped out. It was bad.

Thanks a lot vagabrothers! your channel helps me a lot! i'm going on a trip around Asia for 6 months in 2017 and your videos are helpng me a lot with preparations. my travel partner is a really good friend of mine who is like a brother to me. we know each other since his birth. 10. Yaaaaas! Y'all hit the nail on the head! I've gotten to a point where I know what I can spend, how long I can stay, the type of climate I like. And I just lay it all on the table. I find middle ground. But if the other person wants to say at a five star hotel and I only have hostel money. I move on! Love your videos!

  12. Do you want to find the best hotel deals without waste your time and money? I would highly recommend +besttraveltrip. com+, they also can give you some trip plans by only entering a city or country.

  13. lol the best experience I had was when my best friend and I had no other option to travel around Koh Samui with our last money and dare to take the motorbike which we both didn't know how to ride, it all went smoothly until we reached our destination, but the journey back to our hostel was tiring and panicking at night with all the traffic, my best friend panic at the back seat and so did I, in the end we reached the area of our hostel in the wrong direction so ended walking to our hostel with our motorbike on our side instead of riding them.

  15. funny video. one of my best trips was with friends and my sister, although it had its stressful moments. we managed to survive though and once the bad feelings wore off we had great memories (you usually forget the small bad stuff in a few months).
i did another trip with my sister and her friend and that was a disaster. their friendship ended because her friend hated me, although we never understood why. she said my energy was disrupting her aura and tried to ditch us in a jungle village. moral of the story, don't travel with idiots!

  16. really funny and great video! I want to travel to a few places with friends and this is exactly my dilemma, I don't know who I can travel with. i think I might just travel with my Gigi (family member of mine).

  17. I can really relate to this video, but I travelled with my sister. We got along fine at home, but our differences made traveling so difficult. She likes hotels, but I like hostels. She likes clubs, but I like staying in. She likes more developed countries, but I like poorer countries. She likes taking it slow, but I like doing everything fast in order to see everything. It's sad to say that because of our trip around Asia and the Middle East, we have not talked to each other for two years and yet we are siblings.

  18. In fact I'm saving money for traveling, but no way I'm going with someone! I just want to meet new people, and I don't have a strong attitude and I know that I would end up, going the the others want to go, not were I want to go. Just some people are so lucky to find a good traveling buddy like you did.

  20. Holy hell! I just finished with my my vacation in dubai and I was traveling with friends also. I had the same exact problems you guys just were mentioning. I wished I saw this video before traveling.

  21. Haha, you guys are lucky, it's definitely not easy traveling with family sometimes! I'm on a trip from east to west coast of the US with my family and damn…can it be frustrating; especially since we all have different views of 'fun'. Next time I go on a road trip, I'm taking your advice and going with someone with similar view points lol

  22. Me, my twin and my parents got lost in the Peak District for 3-4 hours on a rainy day. Hiking gone wrong basically but you're so right, family are the people who know you best and how to deal with you, idk how my sister's friends who'd've dealt with her panic! Thank you for the videos! They're brilliant! 😀

  23. Great advice guys!  I am currently studying abroad with my university in Harbin, China and looking to backpack a bit on my own.  I have done it before with a friend last summer which was great because we went over the details first, SO HELPFUL.  My advice for traveling with a friend is compromise is key.
